NEWS: Tupac Shakur's Mother Denies 'Smoking' Her Sons Ashes With The Outlawz
Thursday , 01 Sep 2011
The mother of slain rapper Tupac Shakur, Afeni Shakur has furiously denied being involved in a recent 'smoking' of her sons ashes with Shakur's former group the Outlawz.
Speaking to Vlad TV Outlawz members Young Noble and EDI Mean explained how they had smoked the 'Life Goes On' star's ashes at a memorial event held for the star on a beach. Young Noble, who was asked if they inhaled the rapper, replied:
"Yes, it's definitely true...Had a little memorial for him with his mum and his family. We had hit the beach, threw (in)] a lot of shit he liked at the beach. Some weed, some chicken wings, he loved orange soda... Pac loved that kind of shit, so we were giving him our own farewell".
Although Young Noble and EDI Mean claimed Afeni Shakur was present at the event, her spokesperson has since told TMZ that she was not involved in the smoking ceremony.
A spokesperson for the Shakur family questioned the validity behind the Outlawz confession, as they "would have had to sneak the remains past the family member in charge of keeping an eye on the ashes at the memorial."
Tupac Shakur died in September 1996.
