The video reportedly cost over $6 million dollars to make and is sure to cause oturage amongst religious circles. Speaking to E! the 'Poker Face' star had this to say about all the fuss, "I don't view the video as a religious statement. I view it as social statement. I view it as a cultural statement. It's a metaphor. It's not meant to be a biblical lesson."

The track is taken from Gaga's upcoming sophmore album Born This Way, out on May 23.
