NEWS: Willow Smith Signs To Roc Nation

Emerging nine year old star Willow Smith has officialy been picked up by Jay-Z's record label Roc-Nation.

Willow is the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and already with comparisons to Rihanna, is launching her singing career with first single titled "Whip My Hair," produced by newcomer Jukebox.  Only being released at the start of the week, the song has already recorded hundreds of thousands views on youtube.

The young singer appeared on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show, during which new labelhead Jay-Z called in to make the official announcement.

Saying, "We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow. She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious," said Jay-Z via a statement. "It's rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career."

Willow's mother Jada also added, "After meeting with several record companies, it was clear that Jay-Z, Ty Ty, Jay Brown and the Roc Nation staff was the unquestionable choice. Their passion for Willow combined with their boundless vision and artistic integrity made Roc Nation the perfect home for our little girl."
