American indie rock group Xiu Xiu are playing at Whammy bar in Auckland tomorrow night with support from James Duncan. Founding Xiu Xiu member Jamie Stewart will be joined by newer member Angela Seo for what will no doubt be a terrifying but magical show. Touring in support of their latest record "Dear God, I Hate Myself", Xiu Xiu were last here in 2006, for an intimate show at the Schooner Tavern. This time playing at the underground hideout the Whammy Bar, be sure to get your tickets ASAP to avoid bitter disappointment... it's not a super big place.

Thursday , 09 Sep 2010

Tickets are only $30 from www.undertheradar.co.nz, Real Groovy and Fast and Loose.

The band have released the music video below for their single Dear God I Hate Myself but be warned, the video is rather graphic and contains scenes that some viewers may find disturbing.
