NEWS: ZZ Top Recruits Producer Rick Rubin For New Album
Friday , 17 Sep 2010

ZZ Top have teamed up with producer Rick Rubin, (who has worked with Beastie Boys, Red hot Chili Peppers and Johnny Cash), for their first album in seven years.
The yet to-be-named record will be the band's 15th studio effort and the belated follow-up album to 2003's 'Mescalero'. The band have also recruited The Black Keys to feature on the long awaited record.
"He's very instrumental in striking a resonant chord," frontman Billy Gibbons told SpinnerMusic.co.uk of Rubin's involvement. "He's able to find ways to pull things out that you might not know were there in the first place."
The album is set to be released later this year.
