ABOUT L.A. MITCHELL
The new single arrives just as L.A. is nominated on the Silver Scroll 20-song longlist with previous release ‘When It’s All Too Much’.With a reputation for her polished live act and spectacular voice, the pop/soul songstress has become one of the most in-demand musicians in the country. Alongside her own songwriting and releases (in 2009 she was named first songwriter in residence for Auckland University) L.A. is touring with A Hori Buzz and Sola Rosa and is a member of Dukes, Fly My Pretties and Dave Dobbyn’s band. She opened for Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie at their New Zealand shows and Dukes supported Blondie and Pretenders. L.A. has performed with Bic Runga, Tim Finn, Guy Sebastian, Dane Rumble, Stan Walker and the Urban Soul Orchestra (U.K.).
