After a well needed sleep I awoke into Day 2 of Splendour. Showered, ate and walked over the hill and into the grounds. First up was the wonderful Cut Off Your Hands who played at noon on the amphitheatre stage. It didn’t seem as though there were heaps of people because of the size of the hill however it was quite a gathering. They started with songs from their new album Hollow and then busted out some of the old classics.

After landing in Brisbane after being treated like kings by those killer dudes at Grabaseat on the flight over we grabbed our backpacks and positive festie vibes and spent Thursday afternoon picking up the necessary supplies for the weekend ahead. before retiring to our hotel for what we hope for a goodnight sleep which ended up trouble.

So on the weekend LCD Soundsystem played their last show ever...probably the saddest day in music this year. The show was streamed live...all 3 hours 41 minutes and 13 seconds of the set. We watched pretty much all of it on Sunday afternoon while we did our show on U...it was amazing.
