Fear Factory

Fear Factory is an American heavy metal band. Formed in 1989, they have released seven full-length albums and a number of singles and remixes. Over the course of their career they have evolved from a succession of styles, as well as steadily pioneered a combination of the styles death metal, groove metal, thrash metal and industrial metal. The resultant sound proved to be enormously influential on the metal scene from the mid-90s and onwards.

Fear Factory are supporting Metallica in Christchurch in September. I had a chat with Dino Cazares (Fear Factory guitarist) over the weekend to talk about the preparations for their new tour. How are the preparations going for your tour of Australia, New Zealand and Japan? Well right now we're on a break for a little bit because we just got home from the European festival tour. We've been on tour straight since December of last year. We're actually not going to start preparing for the new tour for at least another week or so.
