Avatar director James Cameron has suggested his next film will be a non-fiction project concerning the indigenous people of the Amazon, after he spent time visiting the Xikrin-Kayapo tribe recently in Brazil. Speaking to the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper, Cameron has been invited to meet the tribal elders following his time with the tribe, part of which was spent filming a short that will be included on a loaded Avatar DVD coming this Christmas.
