NEWS: King Kapisi Collaboration With The Mint Chicks Brought to you by RIU
A Superhuman collaboration involving New Zealand musical royalty is set to leave your eardrums in a majestic mood and in mint condition. ‘Superhuman’ is the latest single from King Kapisi’s upcoming LP “Hip-Hop Lives Here”, due for release late 2010. ‘Superhuman’ is a fusion of two of the most progressive thinking artists/groups from New Zealand. It's the culmination of years of mutual respect. “Not many people know that Ruban and Kody from the Mint Chicks are old school hiphop heads, so working with them was an honour”, says Kapisi. Recorded during 2009 between Kapisi’s studio, Quabax and the RedBull Studios in Auckland, time had to be managed wisely with the Mint Chicks living in Portland, Oregon.
