St Jerome's Laneway Festival

Laneways festival 2011 will be decending on newly redeveloped Aotea Square on Monday 31st January. This has been common knowledge for quite some time now. The news that everyone has been waiting for is the line up announcement, and this definitely won't disappoint. Enjoy.

Tuesday 1st February 2011 Wellington music fans will experience a taste of the music festival that has become known for its diverse, forward-thinking line-ups with interesting, surprising bands. After performing the day before at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Auckland, a finely selected group of bands and musicians from the Laneway line-up will head to the Wellington Town Hall. Punters unable to make it north to the full festival will be guaranteed a special evening of musical discovery and appreciation.

With St Jerome's Laneway Festival less than two weeks away (Monday 31 January), the organisers have published the timetable. Foals are set to headline the Penny Lane stage at 9.25pm and !!! (Chk Chk Chk) are set to headline the Cherry Lane stage at 8.35pm. An Emerald City are set to open the Penny stage at 12.30pm and Lawrence Arabia are set to open the Cherry stage at 1pm.
