The Fourmyula
The Fourmyula were a New Zealand rock group formed in 1967. Ten of their fourteen singles reached the New Zealand Top 20.
The group consisted of Martin Hope (guitar and vocals), Wayne Mason (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Ali Richardson (bass and vocals) and Chris Parry (drums). They were joined in 1968 by Carl Evenson as lead vocalist. The Fourmyula's best known song, "Nature", written by Wayne Mason and produced by Peter Dawkins, reached number one in the New Zealand charts in December 1969. It won the APRA Silver Scroll Award for the year.

Iconic 60's pop band The Fourmyula are soon to join the likes of Johnny Devlin, Ray Columbus and The Topp Twins in the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame. The group, who celebrated the 40th anniversary of their song Nature this year, will be inducted at the Silver Scroll Awards on Wednesday in Auckland.
