Tickets for U2’s 360 Auckland concert at Mt Smart stadium on November 25 went on general sale this morning. The incredible ticket demand for tickets has resulted in a sell-out show, selling in excess of 50,000 tickets in under one hour. There is no confirmation of a second show.

Bono and Larry Mullen on stage in Turin Bono had suffered "severe pain with partial paralysis of the lower leg". U2 frontman Bono has taken to the stage for the first time since sustaining a spinal injury in May. The band resumed their world tour in Turin, Italy, where the singer thanked fans for "all the love and letters you've sent me in recent months". He added: "That's in the past now and I'm very much fit for the future." Bono had emergency surgery to save him from possible paralysis, forcing them to postpone the US leg of the tour and a Glastonbury Festival headline slot.

Bono (front man of arguably the biggest band in the world, U2) has revealed that Danger Mouse is working on their next album. Danger Mouse (AKA Brian Burton) made a name for himself on the Gnarls Barkley collaboration in which he worked with rapper Cee Lo Green (Thomas Callaway). Prior to this, he produced a contraversial mashup album that combined an a cappella version of Jay-Z's Black Album with a collection of unauthorised samples from The Beatles self titled album (also known as the While Album).

U2's Broadway music Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark has been hit by another set-back after lead actress Natalie Mendoza was injured during the first preview show. The actress was hit by a rope backstage and suffered concussion during the preview show last Sunday. The performance was also halted five times due to technical difficulties. Lead producer Michael Cohl said "Natalie Mendoza suffered an injury...and, on doctor's orders, will be out of the show for a brief time,"

U2 are "at the absolute limit" with their 360 Degree tour, and are "as big" as they could "ever get". The 'Vertigo' rockers were declared to have the highest grossing tour ever - beating a record set by The Rolling Stones - last week, having made £341million pounds with 20 dates to go, but the tour itself is also the most expensive ever staged, taking 120 lorries to transport its 50-metre tall sound system, stage and lighting rig.
