Vampire Weekend
Vampire Weekend is an American indie rock band from New York City, formed in 2006 and signed to XL Recordings. The band released their eponymous debut album in January 29 2008 and it produced its singles, "Mansard Roof", "A-Punk", "Oxford Comma", "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa". The band's most recent album, Contra, was released on January 11 2010.

Vampire Weekend's 'Contra' album cover 'star' Ann Kirsten Kennis has spoken out about the $2million lawsuit she has filed against the band, their record label XL Recordings and photographer Tod Brody. The photograph of Kennis was not only used for the Contra album cover but was also featured in heavy advertising campaigns before the album release and live performances of the band without any permission from the star herself.
